Methodology
Prices are the median monthly starting price among senior-living homes listed on Senior Care Path that publish one, as of September 2026. We use the median because it resists outliers, clean to a plausible monthly band ($1,000 to $20,000), and exclude home care, whose pricing is hourly. Provinces are shown only with at least 20 disclosed prices and care types with at least 10. These figures reflect the homes that disclose a price, not every home, and are not a government census.
