  I'd give this company a zero rating, due to poor quality products (they delivered an electric bed that didnt raise or lower properly), and poor service (they never sent anyone to try to repair the non-functional bed, despite several calls for service being made to them, and almost NEVER returned phone calls. either when messages were left or when they promised to arrange for a call back). I bought a few wedges so that we could prop my mother up in this bed for food and medication. After multiple calls and notification that we'd get the media involved, a manager finally got involved and arranged for a replacement bed, but when I asked for an overbed table to be added to this delivery, it never arrived, and I bought a table from a different supplier shortly afterwards. My mother passed away very shortly afterwards, and when I called to arrange for the bed to be picked up, HME dropped the ball again and missed scheduling the requested pick-up date, despite being given approximately 1 weeks notice. I called HME on the date they were supposed to come pick up the bed, to learn that it wasnt scheduled properly and couldnt happen as I previously requested. The only reason I give this company 1 star is due to the efforts of Philip, who I dealt with on the day of the missed pick-up. Remember that over bed table that was never delivered? Philip took the initiative to call me back after we arranged for the bed pick-up next week, to ask if we'd be returning the table as well. It appears i was, or am going to be, charged for the rental on an over bed table that they never delivered. I hope HME can sort this out before I get the rental charges. When you find yourselves in a situation that you need to rent in-home equipment to care for a loved one, there's probably already enough stress going on that you shouldn't have to get more due to a company's incompetence. Based on our experiences with HME, I would advise anyone looking for in-home equipment to avoid HME and try your luck elsewhere. I hope this review is helpful to those reading it

  I’m happy we have great people like Sarah and Larry Hyland at HME. Larry the mechanics saved the day for my Mother when her wheelchair broke down and lent us a working joystick until we get the new one they ordered, and it cost us a penny. I’ll always appreciate them for their kind heart. Sincerely may God bless all of them for life time.

  Took my mom's walker for repair. Very nice people they were gracious enough to lend me one while I wait for them to repair hers!
