South Terrace staff are absolutely outstanding! The care, the respect, the empathy they had for our Mom was not only professional but truly heartfelt – caring for her like a family member. We could not ask for any better care and love they showed her. Our Mom was there for just over a year – the hardest part of her life. Sure the building is rough, but we would take caring staff over the looks of the building any day. If you are looking for peace-of-mind in having caregivers looking after your loved ones, look no further than the staff at South Terrace. Our family is so appreciative for them being part of our Mom’s last year.

My husband was in ISU for a year till last week. I would like to express my appreciation and deep gratitude for the professional and caring treatment he received. The staff were great and most helpful. The recreational staff were also great and most caring. We received appreciate assistance from OT and management. Keep up the good work!

If it weren’t for the caregivers , support staff, those who work behind the scenes there would be zero stars for this review.They were wonderful. Management however was a totally different story. They would not address concerns when primary caregivers were removed from caring for our family member at the end of life period. Their priorities of” staffing enhancement, and cross training” was apparently much more important than allowing our family member to have someone familiar giving care, and to have a caregiver who understood her individual needs. I’m so very disappointed that a claim to be caring and resident oriented, proved to be totally false. Despite numerous attempts, upper administration couldn’t be bothered to even return messages.
