What a beautiful “Mother’s Day” luncheon Aspira Heatherwood Assisted Living put on for all their resident mothers!! 🌸 Family members were also invited to share in the luncheon which added love, joy and special company to this celebration!! The afternoon consisted of an incredible lunch menu, mimosas, elegant decorations, lovely piano music, and laughter, creating memorable moments. Each mother was presented with a colourful carnation, adding a thoughtful touch to the day. The tables were decorated with festive Mother’s Day themed placemats, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. Aspira Heatherwood truly created a special celebration to honour all our amazing mothers! Thank you for making them feel special and loved!! 🥰

My mom has lived in Heatherwood Assisted Living for 2 years now and we just celebrated her 100th birthday several days ago. I wanted a lovely venue with gourmet food and Heatherwood said they could fill my requirements and I didn’t have to look at other locations. Mom loves everything about Heatherwood and I thought this could make my life easy celebrating in house. After a meeting with several management staff to make sure we were on the same page, they took over, knew what I wanted and made my life easy. The room we used was perfect - lots of bright windows dressed with California shutters, warm coloured walls with great art work. Fresh flowers on all the tables, balloons to set the festive mood and the most incredible food you could ask for. The staff at Heatherwood went beyond expectation - I just can’t rave enough on the pleasant evening we had and mom is still talking about what a perfect 100th birthday she had. And she even got to meet her new one month old great grandson, Jack, who flew in from Charlotte! Thank you Heatherwood - you aced it!

I have been living at the Heatherwood Retirement Residence since February 2010. My husband, who had had a stroke, and I were very fortunate to have found this residence since we could not return to our townhouse. We really have really enjoyed living here because we have a wonderful set of staff and management that cater very well to our needs. After my husband passed away in 2017, I have continued to live here to enjoy the companionship of everyone here. I also try to participate in the activities provided so that I can contribute whatever I can to make our lives even better.
