We moved my mother into The Loyalist in June 2026 , and it’s been the right decision. The staff know her by name and genuinely seem to like their work — Alison in particular has gone well beyond what we expected. Communication with the family has been consistent; we hear about changes in her care before we have to ask, which was not our experience elsewhere. The dining is a real strength — especially the variety in options , and they accommodated my mom’s celiac diet without fuss. She’s taken to the various activities programs, and the underground parking makes visiting easy. the transition from independent living to assisted living was handled without disruption. Highly recommended for families in the Niagara region

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Loyalist and their team. I run a retirement home that is closing, and they have been absolutely amazing in helping seven of our residents transition into their new home. Susi and Alison have truly gone above and beyond to make this process as smooth, welcoming, and stress-free as possible. Closing a home and saying goodbye to residents we have cared for so deeply is incredibly emotional, so it means the world to know they are going somewhere they will be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The care and support Susi and Alison have shown throughout this transition has been incredible. It has been such a comfort knowing they are in good hands. Thank you to the entire Loyalist team for welcoming our residents with open arms. We are truly grateful. ❤️

My Mom is moving closer to family, but the Loyalist has been a wonderful home this past year. The room layout has been great, with a comfortable amount of room for all her things and yet lots of space to move around. We can't imagine a better layout. The staff are all warm, welcoming and caring; every one of them that Mom or I have seen. This seems impossible, but I always feel that comes down to the respect they must be getting. Alison and Susi have been amazing, which is what drew me to the Loyalist in particular. In a visit prior to Mom's moving in, I could see the respect they gave to those in their care, responding to residents as we went, with the residents clearly knowing that would happen. An added bonus for my Mom is that it's walking distance to the library.
