  As I prepared for my first knee replacement a retired nurse friend of mine mentioned that Tranquility offered Respite Care. I booked a tour, and had a visit with Jocelyn & Christine, who answered any questions I had. They were both very helpful, and made the idea of recovering at Tranquility seem like the right thing to do. When I arrived for my stay, I found ALL of the staff very friendly and encouraging. I was pleasantly surprised to find a real family atmosphere at Tranquility. Another knee and a hip replacement later, meaning two more stays at Tranquility, and I can truly say that I was definitely in the right place when I needed to heal before going home. Six months later, my mom needed to settle into assisted living due to a fall and a hip replacement. Of course I suggested Tranquility Place. Mom has settled nicely into her stay, and I am so pleased to say that her experience is just as wonderful as mine was. The staff show a genuine love and concern for my mom! Truth be told, I could go on all day about how pleased Mom and I are with Tranquility Place. I believe we are both very fortunate to have found a place as professional, yet down to earth and caring as Tranquility Place. Thank you everyone for all you have done and are doing to make life and the healing process much easier. I highly recommend Tranquility Place for their care, friendliness, and encouragement.

  we set out to find a good place for my mom and we couldn’t have landed in better hands. It’s a great place. Great workers that Pay special attention to everybody. I want to thank some of the workers like Sharon, Marie and Suzanne fantastic and everybody else including Arien for being so kind to my Mom thanks again Angelo

  Tranquility in Brantford is a gem of a retirement community. Mom and Dad moved in last September, and are loving their new home. They are in the front apartment section, have their own compact kitchen, 1 bedroom and a den, with a back door to a patio and access to the parking lot. Their apartment is full of light. With this particularly nasty winter, they have so appreciated being able to go out their front door without bundling up, and head to the library or tea room for some social time. They are participating in the almost daily exercise classes, as well as game and movie times. Dad says if you are bored living here, it's your own fault! There are multiple activities every day. Mom amd Dad are still making most of their own meals, but have taken advantage of the dining room lunch and dinner on several occasions, and enjoyed the meals they were served. The option to take up to 2 meals a day right down the hall is great. We both really appreciate the individual touch offered. I don't know how they do it, but the fabulous staff know the residents by name. The front desk folks are fabulous and always offer a smile and chat. Tranquility are quite happy to have you continue with your existing care routines or can provide new. I feel so much better that Mom and Dad are living independently yet have someone available to help 24/7 with their safety pendants and daily check-ins. If you are looking at wonderful retirement living for your loved ones, make sure to take a tour at Tranquility, you'll be impressed!
