My name is Leslie Robertshaw Room 313 I've been here since March 5 2025. Nothing much has changed. The PSWs and nurses are still 4.5 out of 5. The remaining .5 is shared by the terrible food .( Hot dogs, pizza, chicken pot pie from which the chicken escaped etc) and maintenance. The washroom door remains broken as does the soap dispenser. The heating unit is blowing warm and cold air simultaneously. The soap dispenser on the wall by my bed has been empty for over a week. I have reported these grievances repeatedly to no avail. Whipping a dead horse?

Been in this place June 24/2026, with a friend who was visiting family........no one tells you that you need a code to get in or out, the elevators are pathetic, the lighting for the floors and up/down buttons doesn't work, and wonder what else isn't functioning properly, the place looks like crap....nothing great about this place at all......to the owner, why don't you put some money into this place....disgrace

Positive Feedback: During mid-March, my 92 years old mother (Suzy) was transferred from the exceptional patient care provider Trillium Hospital to Cooksville Care Centre for a 90 days rehabilitation period. This feedback (on experiential level) is based on mom’s stay of 3 months on the 'ground floor' of this rehab facility. Few teams members worthy of mention include: Social Workers: Simran, Susan & Thomas are very prompt and highly responsive. Working behind the scenes proactively, going the extra mile to help consistently is like second nature to Simran & Thomas – a hearty gratitude to both. Physio/OT Team: Rosalyn, Vijaya, Urmi & Raman made great efforts to ensure mom’s speedy and a safe recovery. Their patience is commendable and physio techniques are very effective. Dieticians/Kitchen-Dining Hall Staff: Saathiya, Mayur & Khushi made sure that mom’s special veg diet and preferences were assessed and served properly for all meals every day. Dining hall staff (Surinder, Bridget, Sandeep, Vidhi, Rose, Rosario, Joan, Deeksha, Mike etc.) worked well as a team while serving the seniors. PSWs: Kudos to Bridget - the queen of PSWs who worked diligently to fulfil mom’s daily needs. Other PSWs included the very patient Gloribell, Surinder, Rose, Gaurav, Rosario, Sandeep, Emanuel etc. An Incredible PSW team that is responsive and well trained. Thank you for providing TLC to mom. Routine nursing by Rowena's team & doctoring with the scheduled meds is an adequately organized system. The maintenance (Krishna), cleaning (Estefan) and front office staff (Nanette, Mary) always greet with a friendly smile. Activities: Various musicians played over the weekend for entertainment (including Zumba). Multiple other activities (for cognitive alertness) were facilitated by Anna & Eva with full enthusiasm and active participation. Friendly social worker Rachel and her adorable dog Walter's Friday visits provided such a comforting experience to mom. It’s not the building itself that makes the difference; it’s the genuinely caring people within it. We rate the overall experience at Cooksville to a 5-star level with the fondest memories. A well-orchestrated and a results-oriented team in this facility. Please keep up the good work. A big thank you and God bless you ALL. Rick S
