It's always a treat to visit Winbourne & their staff! Very warm & inviting Everytime! I was just in the other day to take a resident to his appointment and when we return they had live entertainment for the residents to celebrate their monthly birthday party. They always have the best entertainers! All were up dancing, enjoying the music! Staff also participating & doing a great job getting everyone moving! ☺️

I used to like this place. I agree with other reviews about the lack of genuine care and attention here. Management does not seem invested in the residents’ well-being or quality of life. Recreation feels like a performance for show and not a meaningful or personalized experience. There is little attention to individual needs or dignity. My grandmother only needs something simple. A little compassion, music in her room turned on each day, and even that is not consistently done. The nurses are kind and work hard, but they are clearly overwhelmed and stretched thin. This home meets the bare minimum, but it does not prioritize comfort, individualized care, or emotional quality of life for elders who deserve patience, compassion, and respect. It is hard to even raise concerns because there is no real point of contact who takes resident well-being seriously instead of office politics.

Our family is deeply grateful to the team at Winbourne Park for the exceptional care they provided for my father during his two-month respite stay. From the very beginning, every nurse, PSW, and staff member treated him with genuine kindness and professionalism. The care team was consistently communicative - they kept us informed about his health status and followed up proactively whenever needed. The Physiotherapist went above and beyond, even helping us initiate his ADP application and coordinating a wheelchair trial so he’d have his own. The doctor took a very hands-on approach, ensuring my dad received any additional tests and follow-up care he needed. We never once felt like he was seen as a temporary resident - his care and dignity were always prioritized. He was always clean, well-fed, and comfortable, with his dressings changed on time and great attention given to his daily needs. We’re so thankful for the compassion, dedication, and professionalism shown by the entire Winbourne Park team. They truly made a difference for our family during a very challenging time
