My mom went into this place in November 2025, The staff is amazing and just like family, there bedrooms are there own they can decorate anyway they want. Place is very clean. Old nursing homes when my grandmother was in stank of pee and poop. But not this place, it smells wonderful. They have activity every day but I wish they would change it up a little more. They have Auctions with donated items. The people that work or live there are so so friendly. The one star I didn’t give was the food, it’s cold and not very good, some meals are amazing and the residents love them but they deserve hot meals just like everyone else. And if you can’t feed yourself then you get your food after all the meals are handed out. They need more volunteers to help out at meals. So these residents can at least eat a warm meal instead of cold. They care for these residents like family they just spread themselves very thin. My mom had to be placed in an emergency situation and I am so so grateful for there care to my mom. She has a beautiful room and has a dear friend sharing there bathroom together. I also have a Mother I law in a retirement home that is totally different. It’s all about money there she has to pay for any kind of help but at the Garden Terrace it is family, the love there is overflowing with Kindness. The only thing is the food needs to be improved but I know my mom will be the one to fight for everyone in that home. It is the most loving place we first had visited, she had tried it out for a week and fell in love with it and not 2 months later things were getting bad for my mother in her apartment and when a spot came available she was asked if she wanted to be there and she was delighted to be calling it her home. I would give it 90% awesome and a perfect place for your mother or father. If my mother is happy, then I’m happy. She’s 88 years old, she talks and gets around with her walker. She wishes they would do trips and I think they are working on that. But my family have to thank Garden Terrace for making it just like home for the residents.

My Mom and Dad both were at GT. Both both received very professional and loving care. Dad always commented on how the staff always treated him so well. Both of them were involved in activities that kept them as busy as they wanted to be. Management was very helpful in coordination of various services available to Mom and Dad. Thankyou to all who had helped Mom and Dad enjoy their final years

My husband was in the home for 5 1/2 years with dementia. The excellent care he received in the second floor east, was excellent. The girls did more than they could to help out and to make my husband comfortable. God bless all of you, and thank you
