  Green Umbrella stepped in like angels to the rescue when my, then 94 year old, Dad got Covid over a year ago. They provided 24 hour care for over 7 days with skilled caregivers and nurses round the clock. Home made chicken soup and dinners were prepared by this incredible team. My Dad is now 95 and Green Umbrella remains an important part of his care. He lives in Independent Senior Living and Green Umbrella has been a crucial part of allowing him to stay in his home. I am the only family my Dad has left and I live in Oregon. The peace of mind that the GU team provides is invaluable. They care for my Dad, oversee his medical care, spoil him, make him laugh, keep him mentally and socially engaged just like family, but better because of their skill and training. Bahar is always open to feedback, problem solving and is constantly providing supervision and training to her team. My Dad looks forward to her regularly visits like his “other daughter “ has come to see him. All the caregivers are warm, well trained and have a sense of fun. They are also skilled and patient dealing with Dad’s declining cognitive capacity.

  My elderly parents have resisted care though my mother needs it. Bahar has arranged care givers who are proactive and changed up the staff to best suit my mother. In the past year and a half, my mother has gone through significant changes, home to hospital to care home. Bahar and her staff have supported us through these transitions, working to keep consistent caregivers. The staff are very qualified. I would recommend using Green Umbrella, a local company. I did some investigating before choosing them. The staff are paid a reasonable wage, unlike some others.

  Bahar arranged overnight care for our mother in her independent seniors’ residence, during a recent medication adjustment. Bahar was able to put service in place when we needed it, 2 days after our request. Her staff were kind, caring, capable and trustworthy. We were delighted that Mom didn’t have a parade of different caregivers; the staff providing care were consistent week after week. They provided detailed written reports that were very helpful for us in our ongoing planning. Bahar responded to any questions very quickly. We will definitely call Bahar and Green Umbrella again if we need service in the future.
