Profit over care seems to be the ongoing theme here. On ground floor, small rooms designed without thought to residents’ comfort. Washroom directly by the bedroom door makes it less private. Shared space has no natural lighting. Even windows in the bedroom has poor blocked view of the depressing parking lot with car bumpers directly outside the window. All hallways and doors look alike which makes it extra difficult to identify which room is which. There are not enough common areas within the locked area for comfortable shared community space. Not worth price charged. It definitely doesn’t promote any cozy home vibes. Psws will take residents away from their minimal once a day social activities to shower in order to better fit their own schedules as opposed to scheduling it to better suit their resident. Again demonstrating profit over care. Definitely was very disappointed. On the other hand, it helps to set the bar real low so that other LTCs appears much better in comparison. Most of the people working there were mostly friendly, the residents themselves were stoic and not happy. I can’t blame them because it’s not a comfortable place to reside in at all.
