  A Heartfelt Review for Victoria Todd As a massage therapist, I understand the profound importance of holistic therapies, especially in settings where individuals are nearing the end of their lives. My grandfather was a resident at Hilltop, where he spent his final years. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to witness Victoria’s incredible work during this time. Living out west, I would frequently fly back to Ontario to offer holistic modalities such as sound frequency, therapeutic touch, and tuning forks—practices that offer something different from the usual approaches found in care homes. What struck me immediately about Victoria is her ability to recognize the deep value of these gentle yet powerful modalities. Her understanding of the healing power of touch therapy and energy work is something that is much needed in elder and palliative care. I’ve seen firsthand how her presence positively impacted my grandfather's remaining time at Hilltop. As a therapist myself, I truly appreciate her ability to connect with the elderly in such a compassionate and effective way. Her work goes beyond physical healing—it’s about offering comfort, connection, and a sense of peace, which is vital in the care of those nearing the end of their lives. Victoria’s heart-centered approach and dedication to improving the lives of the elderly are qualities that make her stand out. The residents of Hilltop are truly lucky to have someone like her, and I feel fortunate to have witnessed the beautiful impact she’s made.

  My grandma lives at Hilltop Manor, and I’m always blown away by the seasonal decorations. Every holiday and season is thoughtfully celebrated, and they truly go all out. The attention to detail is incredible—it transforms the space into something warm, festive, and inviting. It doesn’t feel like a facility; it feels like home.   Review for Programs Director at Hilltop Manor I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding work of the Recreation Director at Hilltop Manor, where my father-in-law was a resident. Her leadership, dedication, and compassion have truly made a lasting impact not only on the residents but also on their families and the entire care team. From the moment she took on her role, there has been a noticeable and meaningful transformation in the recreational programming. The activities are now more engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs and interests of the residents. As a result, we’ve seen our loved ones more socially connected, active, and fulfilled—something that means the world to families like ours. What truly sets her apart is her unwavering positivity and uplifting presence. She brings energy, warmth, and respect to every interaction—with residents, staff, and family members alike.
