I am a bit surprised at some of the reviews. My mother has been on the secure unit for quite some time and I have nothing but praise for all the staff on the unit. Cleaners, nurses, psw and so many other staff that make that place run is very impressive. Their protocols for covid are the best I have seen. I spent 2 entire days in the unit with my mom and observed nothing but care and compassion to all patients. Communication is excellent and timely. I recommend without reservation this retirement and long term care facility. Well done Ridesucrest staff.

When my great grandmother died after having suffered an injury in their care, her room was cleaned up and packed before we had a chance for her clothes and pictures to be selected for her funeral. On top of that, while she was staying in the home, there were consistant issues with her snacks being provided, seemingly due to an inability to remember that she had a gluten intollerence. She alsohad pains that did not seem to be taken seriously, which may have been related to an undetected cancer we only found following her accident. Most of the staff were sweet and nothing but kind, but the service as a whole was dissapointing and verging on cruel via negligence.

I had a relative and other family friends who were living there. Near the end of my relatives life there seemed to be no extra care given...it was absolutely heartbreaking. Numerous family friends have also had very similar experiences and concerns. I wouldn't recommend this institution to anyone I know or their loved ones.
