While I may not be able to speak for the entire home, I can say that the first floor team took wonderful care of my grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer’s, for ten years. The care and support she received during that time meant a great deal to our family. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s requires patience, compassion, and understanding, and the staff consistently showed those qualities. They treated her with dignity and kindness, and it brought our family comfort knowing she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about her wellbeing. We are so grateful to the first floor team for the support they gave not only to my grandmother, but also to our family over the years. Till the end of my grandmother’s life, the staff cared for her and attended her funeral. Their work is meaningful and will always be remembered. We cannot believe our visits to Seven Oaks have come to an end. When we place our mothers, fathers, and grandparents in the hands of others, we are trusting them with something sacred and that kind of care matters more than words can say...All I know is, my grandma’s soul is full of gratitude for the care the team gave her - you know who you are! Love Thangammah's granddaughter, Ajiitha

My mom stayed at Seven Oaks First Floor Care Unit for 7 months. Dementia is a very cruel and brutal desease.... I thank the heavens everyday that we had such extraordinary people help guide me through this process. I worked and listened to everyone but most of all I got involved when I could. These are our loved ones we are leaving in their hands after we've reached "caregiver burnout". I want to ackknowledge each and every person that took care of mom,.... Latoya, Sunitha, Antilla, Keshia, Saba, Elza, Christine, David, Tara, Fardu, Shaye, Joel, Deepdi, Ali, Kalid, Drew, Jana, Florence, Gene, Devi, Stephani, Teshia, Nomlette, Maria, Sophie, Marina, Tina and Suzie. To all other staff,...Michelle, Carol, Carli, the maintainace (Paul), custodial (Matthew and Marisa), food preparaion workers and Family Counsil participants, Knotty Knitters and all the vounteers. You all loved and took great care of mom beyond expectations. Create that bond with staff. Trust me, it works for you! Much Love, Lola Franchi
