  My neighbor & friend (97 years old) had a fall 2 weeks before my scheduled one month holiday departure. Anna to the rescue with a respite solution enabling an all inclusive safe stay vacay for him and worry free vacation for me. With only two weeks to pull it all together, again Anna to the rescue making the steps to respite entry, clear, concise, and doing whatever she could to help us make it happen. Next, upon my return a Q & A between me and him on his experiences and a pros & cons conversation of choosing to go home where he lives alone or making Sundial his 24/7. Again, Anna to the rescue with her 100% no pressure two cents, rounding out the picture to ensure all information was on the table for his consideration. He chose residency and 10 days later with a little help from us plus Anna he has transitioned to his new space looking and feeling better than ever. A great experience during what can be a very stressful time. Compassion + Professionalism = an Awesome Outcome!! Thank you Anna, I would recommend you & the business you represent without hesitation.

  Life is made up of different chapters. My parents have enjoyed their life together, and the thought of selling their home and moving into a retirement residence was not something they looked forward to doing. Their mindset was that this was for old people and that their independence would be gone. After visiting a few homes in the area, we finally settled on the Sundial. Anna gave us a tour and we found her to be empathetic, kind and gracious. What struck me in our initial tour was that Anna knew everyone that passed us in the hall by name. The home had an upbeat energy, a dining area that was bright - with a menu that looked amazing and a calendar of events that would cater to many different people. As I now open the pages of their book to this chapter, I am thrilled at what I see. They have become part of the Sundial family. They look healthier (thanks to the good food), they continue to meet new people every week and they are so happy with their bright new apartment. The staff are all so friendly and professional. They do not miss their old home at all. For anyone that is feeling the uncertainty that my parents did, my only advice is DO IT!!

  My mother has been living at the Sundial Retirement Residence for just over a year. We initially met with Anna Muraca, Director of Marketing in February 2020. She gave us a tour and reviewed the services. Although my mom was not to make the move until the following year, Anna kept in touch with me to see how she was doing. This was my first indication of how caring the staff are. It was a tough year to downsize leaving behind her home to move to a new place, especially during the pandemic. Even with quarantines, lockdowns and reduced activities, my mom felt at home very quickly. The Wellness Director conducted an evaluation and suggested activities that matched her abilities and the staff found ways to keep people involved (Zoom Bingo!) They have been diligent in keeping all residents safe and at one point during a Covid outbreak, were bringing three meals a day to residents in their rooms! The atmosphere at the Sundial is more like a hotel with beautiful artwork and comfortable chairs. Each resident has their own suite, including a balcony with access to a laundry facility on each floor. Cable, phone and internet are included. Rooms are cleaned weekly and linens laundered. The dining room and outdoor patio have a beautiful view of the lake. There are lots of activities to attend if you are social, or you can spend time in the library. Weekly manicures are available and there is a hair stylist on premises. My mom takes advantage of the daily exercise class which has improved her overall strength, gets tech help with her iPad and attends movie nights. I know I can call anytime with questions or concerns. Most of all she feels safe there which gives us great comfort. Now that things have opened up, she enjoys lunches out with friends and family. My mom will be turning 90 this summer and looks several years younger than when she entered! I highly recommend the Sundial Retirement Residence.
