  We had a family member stay here briefly and what a great experience it was! The Executive Director James and the whole team were incredibly professional, communicative and authentically caring. If you are looking for a retirement community in a very convenient part of Regina, look no further. Call them for a tour!

  I stayed at Marian Chateau during construction on my house, renting a 1 bedroom respite suite for 3 months, summer of 2024. Initially I planned to stay only one month but delays on the house meant an extended stay. Marian Chateau was flexible in offering this. They also allowed pets so I was able to bring my two cats. Weekly housecleaning was offered as part of my stay. The suite was comfortable, small but pleasant, nicely laid out. Meals were included and with each meal there were always alternatives available to the main dish. During my stay, there was a tasty summer barbecue each week, and an ample, delicious buffet to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Marian Chateau. The whole physical environment was spacious and pleasant, inside and out. The roof was being repaired while I was there which was distracting at times, but not too much so. People gathered to visit in the large entry, in the bistro for coffee, in a community "kitchen", to cook if desired, to play cards and do puzzles, and in the dining room for live entertainment, often weekly. There were many activities planned for residents: trips to various sites to shop, to the bank, to explore (ie. the library, City greenhouse) and for individual medical and other appointments. There was sometimes live entertainment which many residents enjoyed. Every holiday was recognized and often celebrated with decorations and refreshments. The most memorable and unexpected part of my time at Marian Chateau was the kindness and warmth expressed by staff and residents alike. Staff were friendly and flexible, offering support and help when needed. Residents, too, were welcoming, offering company and friendship. I have had experience with other facilities for seniors, not as a resident but as helper to a friend living there. Although the circumstances are different for residents and visitors, to me Marian Chateau shines in its' warmth and friendliness, in how welcoming it is. I would certainly return there if and when the need arises.

  my mother in law moved in may and has gloated about just how wonderful it's been in sll aspects - she's even encouraged a few to move here! we finally tried wednes bbq and it was so delicious! very pleased with how her having to move from her home at the beach was made better w how great her transition has been! so grateful to marian!!
