Love coming here to enjoy attending the Senior program. Amazing facility and staffs. Highly recommended

Yee Hong Mississauga is an exceptional facility. My father has been there for almost 3 years. I cannot say enough good things about this place. All the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents. Every morning they do group exercises and in the afternoon it is always movie time or some other fun activities! They have a doctor on-site and a dietitian who monitors the resident's diet. Every year they do a care conference with the resident’s family and that’s when you truly appreciate how much care the resident receives. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is calm. I highly recommend this long-term care home!

From what I can tell during visits, the staff are extremely friendly and treat their residents with respect. Compared to Tyndall Senior's Village on Tomken and Eglinton, this place is 8 times better (the latter was subjected to penalization by Ontario for violations which included abuse). There may be a language barrier here however, the staff here are human beings and will treat anyone with the dignity that the patients deserve and their loved ones expect. Since this is a Chinese Institution, it is like a second home for the patients here as they can see people of a similar culture. Obviously, there are improvements that can be made such as a greater variety of food... when I visit during dinner hours, Grandma only eats mushy stuff! It may be because of her teeth... Or they can somehow provide greater overall hygienic care for residents such as daily brushing for those who are not able to do so. Update: During COVID-19, the Yee Hong Centre was able to limit the amount of cases to ONE staff. The job they have done to keep the residents and their families secure and well is commendable and much appreciated.
