My sister needed a walker asap after her surgery to her ankle. Was given the 343 number and inquired about getting a walker. She spoke with Casandra. My sister asked Cassandra several times if they were located downstairs from the Ottawa Civic Hospital so that the item could be picked up. Cassandra said yes. I also called Cassandra to verify the location and paid for the item. During this interaction I found her to be impatient by my asking her to verify that they were indeed located downstairs from the Civic. When a nurse and another person went to pick up the item they were told it was not there. Only to find out it was downstairs from Ottawa General not Civic. During my conversation with Cassandra, friendly is not the word I would use to describe her. Today, March 7th, I called her out on our conversation last Friday. Instead of admitting she was wrong she tried to make me out to be a liar by saying that my sister or I never asked her if she was downstairs from the Civic. My sister did and so did I. At the end of the conversation she had a sarcastic tone and condescending by ignoring what happened and asking "Is there anything else I can do for you today". Not a nice person.

Hello, My multiple spinal surgeries over 11 yrs ended after 4 physiotherapy treatments. I’m proud of working through each surgery (there were many other surgeries as well). I have no longer the ability to walk confidently with balance issues coming into play. My physiotherapist strongly recommended I accept the use of a quality walker, similar to ones used in the rehabilitation centre. Thanks to Katelynn Forrest-Bourbonnais at OMS who worked with the physiotherapist to suggest several options in walker equipment. I was released from hospital and Katelynn kept me on updates about delivery times, government approvals, until final delivery. On the exact day it was due. Great experience with Katelynn. Highly recommend her and OMS.
