This is the worst, most inefficient and potentially dangerous alarm company in Canada. They do not have 24/7 technical support and what support they do offer is absolutely awful. Technicians are incompetent. After reporting a bf error I was told nothing was wrong and a week later the box is beeping loudly every 10 minutes. It’s midnight and I can’t speak to one of their incompetent technicians for 8 hours. Better you have no alarm that deal with United Alarm and their partner in crime Securtek. Shame on both of them for supplying such stunningly inferior products and non-existent support when their customers need it most. Signed, a soon-to-be ex-customer.

United Alarm has been fantastic. I really appreciate how accessible they are as a local company, it makes a huge difference being able to contact them if something goes wrong or if you have a question that needs quick attention. Darryl and Gerald have both been amazing to work with from start to finish. We had a dog-related issue come up, and it was completely resolved within 5 days. Extra shout-out to Darryl, who was incredibly patient while setting everything up for us. He truly went above and beyond.

Signed up for a 4 year contract. I have a dog but was told it wouldn’t be a problem. First day, my dog sets off the alarm and I’m at work. I ask united to come take a look, they tell me there’s nothing they can do and then charge me $80 for the house call. Shady business through and through. There are plenty of above board options for this service available. If you have another option, I suggest you take it.
