Please put a sign at the entrances of the mall if you are closed for a storm or holiday. It is such a hike to your office and you are dealing with people with respiratory issues. Going so far to only find out you are closed is a real gut punch when you have trouble walking without losing your breath.

I have been on a CPAP machine for over 20+ years, all of which I purchased thru VitalAire because I trusted the company and needed a company to be there for me throughout my transfers across Canada and someone I could count on to save my family from my excessive snoring! Today, I realized that trust was misplaced by the lack of customer support the Halifax location provided me, the worst customer service that you need or want from a medical device provider. My CPAP machine failed me after 3+ years of service, unlike my previous similar units that continue to be there for me long past their service dates. I phoned repeatedly, no answer, only voicemails, leave a message and hope for a response! Finally a callback, their solution, $550 charge to figure out what the issue is with no promises, because they don’t service the units locally! But wait, it gets better, they can’t help access the units locally, call the branch you bought it from to figure it out, because a) they don’t talk to each other, and b) the clinician was too busy to help me. So when I suggested this was poor customer service and perhaps I should reconsider my next purchase of a CPAP unit from a local supplier, they seemed only too happy to provide me with a list of local companies I could buy from! Wow, I’ve never been so rudely treated! Do not buy from VitalAire, they will not be there to support you! Buy local! Sorry for the long rant, but you need to know you will be supported locally and treated as a valued customer! Don’t misplace your trust like I did!
