About
Hearing Care Clinic provides comprehensive hearing care services, hearing tests, and hearing aid fitting, repair and maintenance across four locations on Vancouver Island, serving the aging community with personalized, family-owned care since 1985.
Senior Care Path Summary
Hearing Care Clinic is a family-owned business established in 1985, now in its second generation of leadership across four Vancouver Island locations (Victoria, Duncan, Chemainus, and Mill Bay). The clinic serves seniors and older adults by providing complete hearing assessments, hearing aid evaluations, professional fittings, lifetime maintenance, and ongoing support tailored to each client's needs.
Services include hearing tests, earwax removal, hearing aid fitting and programming, repair and maintenance, tinnitus treatment, and counselling to help patients adjust to hearing aids successfully. The team takes time to explain results clearly and discuss all available options without pressure, recognizing that hearing loss often develops gradually in older adults.
The clinic helps clients navigate funding options including Veterans Affairs Canada, extended benefit plans, and Workers Compensation. They also operate the Gift of Hearing program, providing refurbished and new hearing aids to those who may not otherwise have access to care, reflecting their commitment to serving all older adults in their community.
Staff provide patient education and resources on hearing loss, its impact on emotional and cognitive health, care and maintenance of hearing aids, and management of related conditions. All four locations offer a warm, comfortable atmosphere with caring professionals who are rooted in their local communities.

I love this clinic. Angela and Heidi are awesome and so friendly including pet friendly. Plus they are local nor part of all the hearing corporations that have taken over Victoria.

I went in to the clinic to have the Dr. flush my ears as I have been having some issues with my left ear. The Dr. looked in my ears and told me they were clear. She then told me 2 times in the 10 minutes I was in with her that I would still have to pay the full 75$ even though my ears were clear. She didn’t flush them only looked in them. The least she could have done was flushed them anyways since she told me twice I still have to pay the full price. I never considered that I wouldn’t have to pay for her service. In the very least do the service you are charging for. Very unprofessional and absolutely not recommended.

My first ever hearing test so I was kind of worried. But I had nothing to worry about. They were very friendly and explained everything in a way I could understand. No long or unpronounceable words. Highly recommend if you need a hearing test.
