Edited to remove a star. I received an automated message on FB that stated they would contact me within 1 business day which did not happen - twice. I gave them a call and the person that answered was dismissive and told me that they are going through a transition and it should be completed within 6 weeks! 6 weeks to get a response is unacceptable. Not a good start, Sienna! This review is regarding their Social Media. They don't have a Family Portal (that we've been made aware of, anyway), so we have been following the FB page to see all of the exciting activities that our Mom can enjoy. They have not posted for over a Month and haven't responded to any Messages. Just a bit disappointed as we love Hygate. The Food, Staff and Activities have been wonderful! I will be happy to adjust my rating if someone answers me.

I had the opportunity to stay at Hygate on Lexington for 2 weeks as I recovered from hip replacement surgery. All of the employees I dealt with were helpful, pleasant, and more than capable. The staff in the dining room were so friendly and took great care to look after the residents quickly and efficiently. The meals at Hygate were very good, which was totally surprising to me. During my 2 week stay, there was a lovely variety of meals. Food was always hot and delicious. There were a lot of things on the activity calendar, most of which I would have participated in, but I was very limited in what I could do, considering my recent surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Hygate on Lexington, whether it be for a temporary respite stay, or a permanent relocation.

We had an opportunity to participate in a Christmas bazaar and it was a blast! It was super fun for both residents and the ones who came in to shop. Shout out to Stacy the activity manager for organizing it and she and the rest of the staff went out of their way to even feed us fresh delicious sandwiches! Staff was very friendly and welcoming at the same time super caring to the very happy residents. Thank you Stacy and this place looks like a very happy place in all levels.
