  From our hearts to yours, we wish to express our deep gratitude and full satisfaction to each of you and everyone on the Chartwell New Edinburgh Square team. This note of appreciation is from Dad's Caring Circle - Guy Berthiaume's two daughters, his son, Marc, and his two nephews, François and Patrick. Dad lived with you and among you for just over 4 happy years. Throughout those years, he was supported and accompanied by everyone at NES, always with warmth, care, attentiveness, effectiveness, professionalism, and flexibility. As his dementia progressed over those years (memory, verbal skills, executive function) and his world got progressively smaller, we much appreciate how you remained connected with the positive and content man Dad always has been and continues to be, and how you proactively evolved your services to meet his changing needs. Papa's Caring Circle has always been seen, consulted, heard and listened to, and we strongly value the excellent and constant quality of care and advice you provided over those years. Each of your department's contributed to Dad's ongoing well-being. He, and we, much appreciate the warmth and solicitude of the Reception team, great variety and interest of monthly activities, excellent cuisine, rigorous cleanliness and maintenance of infrastructure, accurate and timely accounting/administration services, caring attention of the Sales team, and last, but not least, the loving support and "encadrement" of the Health and Wellness team. You also create an ambiance and culture that nurtures friendships among residents, and Papa's life was greatly enhanced by his many friendships, of particular note most recently are his friends Jean-Marie Joly and Marc Parisien. It is with sadness that we made the choice that the time had come for Dad to move to a residence offering three levels of service. We will miss each of you, and look forward to occasionally dropping by with Papa to visit all his friends at New Edinburgh Square, both residents and you and your teams.   One of the best decisions in my life was to move to NES. The management and staff are creating a wonderful community. We do not just feel safe, but enjoy the camaraderie, activities, great meals as well. The area is a dream. Walking to the river, to good restaurants, swimming pool. Some people are scared about the idea of retirement home,I can only suggest, com ena dsee it yourselves.

  We visited a wonderful place to retire when we will be ready to sell our house. Great location, (easily access to a grocery, shops, and pathways for walking, etc,). Also the different facilities, specially the library and outdoor área. The staff is very friendly and people all around looked content and happy. Liz , the retirement living consultant was very helpful in coordinating the visit, prior emails and follow-up information such as style of bedrooms, menu and activities schedules.
