  Stillwater is the third assisted living facility that my parents have been at. They've been there for 1.5 years and it has been the best of all facilities. The staff are truly wonderful. The front line staff are so gentle and caring and constantly go above and beyond whenever one of my parents is in any kind of distress. And the whole management team is also very responsive and supportive.

  Just moved my mother to Stillwater Creek. The overall process from first point-of-contact to move-in was a highly positive experience. Communications with Sue Taylor, Retirement Living Consultant were great. She is personable, astute, a good listener, organized and professional -- quick to respond to emails and move-in requests. Mom was fearful to move, not knowing anyone and feeling alone. Sue arranged for her to have lunch with a group of friendly ladies who would make her feel welcomed. Sue listened to concerns and offered good suggestions and reassurances – commend all her efforts to meet our hopes and expectations. We also met with Karen Mackinson, Assisted Living Manager who was engaging, on-the-ball and highly supportive. Move-in was smooth and efficient. The elevator had been booked for the afternoon slot, but our movers were done early and were keen to deliver to Stillwater Creek and get the job done before noon. Sue worked some magic to accommodate the last-minute request. Floor staff came by to introduce themselves to Mom with genuine smiles and assurances; phone service was immediately taken care of and Mom whispered to me “everyone here is so kind!” Mom is not an ‘easy please’ so it was a huge relief for me to see her little smiles. There were a multitude of actions taken by Sue and the SWC team to allay Mom’s anxieties, support her and build relationships throughout the move and transition. It affirmed the decision to go with SWC. I'm breathing easier knowing Mom is in very capable and caring hands.

  We have had a very good experience at Stillwater since a family member moved in earlier this year. Sue Taylor, Lifestyles Consultant, helped make the move in an easy transition and a very positive, warm, experience for all. The facility is absolutely lovely, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Staff professional and friendly. This is a great spot and I would not hesitate to recommend it as a wonderful retirement home.
