I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chartwell Rockcliffe through my role with a private care company, where I’ve conducted falls prevention workshops within their community. From the moment I walked through the doors, I could feel how welcoming and family-oriented the environment is. I’ve visited many retirement communities throughout the city, and I can honestly say Chartwell Rockcliffe truly stands out. The staff are incredibly caring, passionate, and dedicated, and you can see the genuine connections they build with residents every day. The atmosphere feels warm, supportive, and filled with kindness. It’s clear that the people here truly care about the well-being and happiness of their residents. Chartwell Rockcliffe is a very impressive place - well appointed and elegant in all respects. In my opinion, it is the most desirable seniors' residence in the city. I have been a guest speaker about astronomy at Chartwell Rockcliffe; in this regard, I have been working with the Residence Experience Manager "Annie", who does a truly superb job for the residents, and who is very helpful in coordinating/planning with me.

Our move in a little over a month ago was smooth and seamless. All the staff have been understanding and helpful including Denis in maintenance and Lorna in housekeeping. The transition so far to our new lifestyle has been relatively stress free. Residents including Larry, Theresa, and others have made us feel welcome. The meals are nutritious, varied and delicious. We are participating in some of the various activities in the residence.
