Our mother recently moved to Chartwell Regency, and we could not be happier with our decision. She transitioned here from a much more expensive, full-service residence that didn’t provide even half the care and attention she is already receiving here. In just over a week, every single staff member we have come into contact with has been extraordinary and deeply caring. If you visit, you might notice that the overall aesthetics of the building's interior common areas are a bit older and in need of some renovations. However, don’t let that fool you. The actual individual suites are beautifully and fully renovated. Most importantly, the residence is clean, and it has an undeniable, warm "family feeling" that gives you complete peace of mind. The warm, kind, and genuinely caring individuals who work here make all the difference in the world. They truly put the residents first, and the level of attention they give your loved one is priceless. Highly recommend!

We thank everyone at Chartwell Regency for the care and support you always gave our mother. We were worried how she would adjust to living in a shared community at 92 years old when she moved here and after living in her own home for most of her life but it didn’t take long for her to adjust, find her way around and most importantly make friends. She came to think of this place as her home and was now living the good life. She saw every person that worked here as her extended family and more importantly her friends and loved you all. There were times she may have been grumpy but told us you all gave her amazing care every day all day. You always knew where you could find her sitting in her chair in front of the window just watching the day go bye and loved every minute of it. While in the hospital she kept asking me when she could go home to her friends and that was here. Sadly she passed away Thursday March 26 2026. Just before her 97th birthday. We her birth family thank you all for giving her 5 years of some of the best years of her life! On behalf of Lois Fraser 310 thank you. MaryAnn, Art, Bob, Nancy and Sheila….

Thank you to all the Regency Chartwell Port Credit Staff! Our Father, Ron Aldridge stayed at Regency Chartwell Port Credit for 4 years, before he moved to an LTC due to needing more assistance. He passed late this January. The love and care that everyone gave Dad, went truly far above and beyond. Mary, the Nurse on staff was amazing and helped us to navigate Dad's health and needs for years, always offering guidance and support. We cannot say how thankful we are for her help. Rose, one of the very special PSW's who cared for Dad with such love and patience. Thank you so much for being there for him. Donna, Chartwells' Bus Driver and Social support, keeps the entertainment and events fun and playful and her connection with the residents, so heartfelt. Nick the manager who was so very helpful and we very much appreciated all his additional care and support he gave us. Port Credit Chartwel became home for Dad, with familiar faces, warm and kind staff, fun and entertaining activities and a terrific all around support system for residents. Linda and I cannot say enough about how thankful and appreciative we are for all that everyone there did for Dad. We would highly recommend Chartwell Regency Port Credit to anyone who is looking for a safe place for their parents or family member. An enormously heartfelt Thank you!
