This is an absolutely stunnung property. Katherine worked very hard helping us transition my mother from another property. Yesterday was the day we were hoping to bringing her in. Unfortunately my mother lost her battle with cancer and passed away in hospital on June 10th. We as a family were looking forward to continue making memories in this beautiful resort like seniors lifestyle property. She too was very excited and could not wait to have a lovely apartment with a balcony for the coming summer. Living in Port Credit and watching this building go up I always thought it would be too expensive. I was shocked when we were given our quote. It was 20% lest expensive than the chain we had her in that was just bought out by an American Reit with hefty backers. Senior living should not be about profits. We all know what happens when the shareholders are more important than the care of our loved ones.

It was a gorgeous sunny day when we toured The Shores and the bright sunshine was glorious through the huge windows. There was lots of activity at the pop up booth selling clothing which meant the residents could shop in house. The lunch was delicious and all the staff we encountered were more than welcoming. We were impressed with the large kitchens in the luxury apartments and the views looking over the lake were spectacular. There are so many activities for socialisation, stimulation and fitness. Katherine was terrific in answering all of our questions and even saying we can bring the dog. It was a lovely time. Thanks.
