  What an outstanding place! Our mother recently moved into Chartwell Wynfield and the entire experience from beginning to post-move has been just incredible. Pricing and suite plans are completely transparent from your first Google search. Anne Smith has been knowledgeable, forthright, beyond responsive and accessible and wraps it all up with a kind compassion rarely seen. The facilities are top notch and beautiful. So close to what my mother used to live in that it is remarkable. The food, staff and services are excellent. Meals are posted on a weekly basis, with 3 alternatives each day if something is not ideal for any resident. The residence is perfectly situated in an existing neighbourhood and close to several amenities should you ever need them - which has to be rare with all that is available onsite. Weekly bus trips to meaningful places add to the enjoyment of the residents, especially any who may no longer drive. Movement classes, trivia nights, weekly therapy dog visits and entertainers are just a sample of the activities carried on every day to enhance the social lives of residents. A true community within the community. So much so, that several members of the same families have chosen to move here. Resident Ambassadors help new members settle in, which is such a welcome initiative. Thank you so much for everything. Well done everyone!!

  We recently transitioned a loved one into a retirement home, Chartwell Wynfield Retirement Residence and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, the team demonstrated genuine care, compassion, and professionalism, making what could have been a difficult time feel much more manageable. The attentiveness to our loved one’s needs and the support extended to our family have provided us with great comfort and peace of mind. It is reassuring to know they are in such capable and caring hands. A special thank you to Anne Smith for going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and positive transition. Your dedication truly made a difference. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this residence to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.

  What a wonderful residence! I was honoured to participate in Chartwell Wynfield Retirement Residence’s Gourmet Garden Gala Summer Menu Launch as a vendor of my wreaths, floral decor, cards & gift baskets. From the moment I arrived I felt VERY welcome. I met so many lovely residents and staff and had fun chats with countless individuals, everyone was so kind and genuine. The event, which included delicious food and drinks, was inclusive to all entering the doors. Hats off to the chef and kitchen crew, and to all who helped create, coordinate and support the entire event! Thank you for the opportunity to spend time in your beautiful residence where I witnessed individuals being seen and valued - such a comforting atmosphere!
