My husband and I have lived at Missionwood for 3 years now. It was the best decision to move here. The GM Danijela leads a wonderful team. Her door is always open to residents and staff. She solves problems with efficiency and good humour. Everyone working here is just plain nice! Choosing to live here means we have a lot fewer worries and chores, giving us more energy to enjoy our retirement. Delicious meals, weekly housekeeping, daily activities, 24 hour security and emergency support, on site maintenance, shuttle bus, and it’s all included! Plus so many good friends to visit with at meals, go for walks with, and participate in activities with. Our mental and physical health are well maintained.

Loved the staff! Super kind and helpful but was not impressed with the manger daniella. I have been visiting my grandparents at mission wood for a while now and have never had an issue until recently, when one of the new mangers started working there. She was extremely rude and arguably racist to me. When I was just trying to find what new room my grandparents were assigned to she would not give me the time of day and was just giving me a dirty look. I then proceeded to watch her yell at a staff member. I visited again and again the same manger I heard speaking poorly to the staff and talking bad about the residents.

My Mother and Step Father moved into Missionwood 3 months ago and it’s been fabulous. The staff is exceptional! Food is really good as well. Everything they need is there and they are so delighted to have made the decision to move. Thank you Missionwood!!! I’m resting easy knowing they are well taken care of.
