Northwood is a warm and welcoming place. It’s got a wonderfully positive atmosphere. The staff and super kind, helpful and always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is comfortable and cared for.

My parent moved into the Northwood Retirement Resort about three years ago and they have really appreciated their fairly large suite, the helpful and friendly staff members, and the camaraderie of the other guests. My husband and I have visited at least four times a year and always enjoy the meals, movies, and general atmosphere of the Northwood. We highly recommend the Northwood if you are searching for an independent living opportunity. My wife and I have a mobile pop up clothing company that regularly visits Northwood. From our observations the residents look to be very happy at Northwood. We visit 50 + seniors communities in the Okanagan area and we usually attribute the positive vibe to the staff that works there. Sarah the GM is wonderful to work with and we especially are impressed with Cherie-Lynn the activities director in how she interacts with everyone and provides fun things to do for all the residents. Tanya at the front desk is also very kind and accommodating to us as vendors. Denise in Sales from what we see when we visit always seems to put the needs of the residents at the forefront. The facilities are beautiful and we get treated to lunch on our visits and we can say the food is always delicious. Well done Northwood!
