  Noticing the lack of real feedback on this place, I feel it's important to make people aware that this retirement home is NOT a safe place for our elders. As someone who has a relative currently staying there (and currently, desperately looking for a new place for them to live) I can very confidently say that Rina and Rick hide demons in those walls. My grandmother has been staying at Park View for awhile and really did like it at first, in terms of appearances alone it's a nice place, but unfortunately what was supposed to be a welcoming home to replace what she couldn't take care of anymore became a stressful, chaos filled nightmare. Appearances clearly aren't everything given that equipment seems break there constantly, and not just minor appliances. I've heard countless times from her about how the elevator is always broken, which seems to entirely work against the purpose my family is paying for her stay there. Worse than that, my grandmother had to deal with the smell of sewage soaking through the carpets of the main lobby when they had a leak in the ceiling. For weeks she had to deal with this. I don't understand for the life of me how this is acceptable. If the whole place falling apart wasn't enough, the company typically isn't any better. For a "Retirement Home", Park View certainly seems to like the idea of bringing in residents that behave like children. My grandmother is constantly dealing with disruptions amongst her fellow residents. I've been told that loud yelling and cussing is a common occurrence, and being able to go to the bathroom on the lower floor (which there is apparently only one of, being shared by residents AND visitors) is an absolute luxury and is often soiled to the point of destruction by some residents. I've heard horror stories about flooding and messes smeared on the walls of that bathroom, the fact that residents may find themselves having to go all the way back up to their rooms just to use the bathroom absolutely sickens me. It's not even just problems with the infrastructure or residents though, my grandma has told me about countless arguments between staff, going as far as full blown screaming. I truly believe that of ANYONE that should have some semblance of peace and order in that place, it would be the people that are getting paid to take care of my loved one. It's not just unacceptable, it's infuriating and harmful to the mental health of the residents. I want everyone considering looking into this place to really picture your loved ones dealing with this kind of stress every single day. As it stands my family is already looking for a new home for my grandmother as fast as possible, but the fact that she's having to deal with all of this in the meantime is utterly heartbreaking. Take this review as advice to not make the same mistake we made, the cheaper pricing of Park View Retirement Home isn't a blessing, it's a warning. My heart goes out to all of the other residents putting up with this treatment daily, steer clear of this place.

  My friend live there but came out with ALZIEMERS AND HAD TO GO IN NURSING HOME BUT IT THE RENT WASNT SO HIGH I WOULD GO LIVE THERE IM ON FIXED INCOME NOT ENOUGH TO COVER THE RENT BUT IT IS A VERY NICE PLACE TY

  This place is not a retirement community, it is a home. With all sorts of love and unconditional care. My father was apprehensive because he had Parkinson's and had always been independent. Now he is safe, happy, full belly and content. Thank you all, staff and owners for the amazing care you give my father and me. Shout out to Debbie, Karen, Doina and the rest of the staff. You guys rock.
