My grandfather moved to Sandalwood a couple of months ago and the staff at Sandalwood went above and beyond to help him with the transition on an expedited basis. Kim Marie was exceptionally helpful, supportive, and responsive throughout the process - we couldn't have done it without him and it's always such a pleasure to see him when I return to Sandalwood to visit. Kim is one in a million and really put us at ease during a stressful time. It took no time at all for my grandfather to settle in - he loves the staff and meals at Sandalwood and has even made some new friends along the way. He is really enjoying the convenience of the bus service, in-house hair stylist (Maya), and in-room foot clinic visits. Also worth mentioning that the grounds at Sandalwood are so beautiful and relaxing. It feels like an oasis within Kelowna and really a lovely place for residents to enjoy. Special thanks to Deb, the front office manager, who has also been extremely helpful in answering many of my questions as my grandfather transitioned to Sandalwood.

My mother has recently moved into Sandalwood Retirement Resort. My father in law lived there for 13 years previously. It is a very well run retirement community with excellent meals, great staff and a bright inviting building. It is most probably the best facility in Kelowna and surrounding communities in my opinion. The suites are being completely renovated and the one bedroom my mother has is outstanding with new led lighting, all new flooring and quartz countertops. I have one small concern that the families of prospective tenants need to consider. The visitor parking stalls are nearly completely -filled during the day with employees so there is not a lot of room when you come to visit. The street is filled all of the time with vehicles from the apartments across the street. If you have mobility problems there is nowhere to park close by. If you show up after the dayshift ends it is easier to park
