David, Alysha and the team are wonderful at Abbeylawn Manor. We were looking to move my mom to the residence from a hospital. The Abbeylawn team were there for our family through the entire process. They always had time for us and answered all of our questions. They did everything possible to make the transition as comfortable and smooth as possible. Unfortunately my mom took a turn for the worst and we did not end up moving her, but we will be forever grateful to the Abbeylawn team for their kindness and empathy through a difficult journey.

My wife(Carol) had her mom here for just over 1 year. Staff are wonderful. Compared to other places it is affordable and no nickel and diming. We would definitely recommend.

The staff are lovely so if you are looking for a place for your parents to be taken care of with respect this is it. We were definitely oversold on how exciting this place is. There are no trips anywhere, the activities are bingo, word search, Friday afternoon "entertainment" and a book club where they are read to. My mom has been bored, she was really hoping to find people to make friends with and chat but most people are deaf or slipping into dementia. We were told there was three choices for meals, that is some what correct. There is the main course and then two sandwich choices, usually ham, tuna or egg salad. The quality of the meat is definitely not grade A or even B. This is not the fault of the serving staff and they try hard to satisfy cranky seniors. Everything is extra and that's not transparent, common for all of these places but we said mom was moving to have someone do her laundry and change her sheets. That's extra and I wish they had been honest. It's not a bad place, I just wish what David had described in the interview was true
