My mother's toes are black and infected and no one can tell me why. MY MOTHER IS DIABETIC!!. I am astonished of the lack of care my mother receives. She has been left in a bed wet and unchanged. Her laundry goes missing so now I have to spend even more money on traveling back and forth and pay to do her laundry. This place is a joke. I called The Ministry Of Long Term Care and an investigation will be done. I want my mother out of there.

At first the staff are helpful, after a month that changed. My dad told me that the staff would neglect him, and being rude towards him/ me. when it came to dinner time he would be the last table to be served because he wanted to make a complaint about the staff to management (director of care). The food wasn’t that good, I would bring in what I could. He often noticed there where bugs and I had witness it. I found the staff to be insensitive towards patients with delirium. One day I was called at work because the head nurse could find my dad and asked if I picked him up. They found him 20 minutes later in the TV room. Sadly, He passed away there after living there for 9 months. I had asked for an autopsy, and the doctor refused; the doctor said that my dad had illnesses so, they wouldn’t recommend it however, my family wanted this done.

My Father had to come here due to decline.He passed 11 days later. The staff here was very caring and did a lot to make him comfortable. Staff Dr. also very understanding. LTC is not a nice place to be but the care my Dad recd was good care. No complaints.
