I’ve been a resident at Chartwell Pickering City Centre nearly two years—this August will mark that milestone—and my experience has been very positive. One of the things I appreciate most is the availability of optional services that can be accessed whenever needed, providing great flexibility and support. The housekeeping and dining services are exceptional—I couldn’t ask for better. The quality and consistency truly make daily life more comfortable and enjoyable. The location is another major advantage. Being in a prime area close to the mall and near many of my friends adds convenience and helps me stay connected to the community. Most importantly, the staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service. Their professionalism and warmth make a real difference in the overall experience.

I always stay at chartwell pickering when I visit my Mom. Every visit has been excellent and I look forward to many more visits. The staff have been wonderful and I get to see first hand how the experience is for the residents. Based on my exposure to this retirement home it seems very well run with very professional and respectful staff. I will be back for another visit soon!

I came to Chartwell Pickering for a short-term stay while renovations were being performed on our home. We really like the fact that we could get a furnished room while many other residences in the area only offered unfurnished rooms. All of the staff (from front desk, to food service, to maintenance) are very accommodating and friendly. The food is good and you can request larger or smaller portions to suit your appitite. All of the long-term residents I've spoken to have told me that they are happy with their experience here. Thumbs up for me. I would certainly recommend this place for both short and long term stays.
