  I recently moved into Chartwell in Pickering. The residence is fabulous. My apartment is clean, bright and well appointed. I occupy a 1-bedroom with bath and kitchenette. The staff are welcoming, cheerful, helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and they ensure that you get your questions answered or help with tasks you may not be able to do on your own. The atmosphere targets the sense of independant living but with oversight to know you are well cared for. Two thumbs up.

  My parents moved from B.C. Into Chartwell Pickering this past week. Despite the move itself being incredibly big and stressful, Ashley Brown helped my parents every step of the way. From the first meeting she was incredibly kind, patient, understanding and helpful. Her warmers made the whole process reassuring that we chose the right home for my parents. The staff from reception, dining room, and nursing seem to truly be happy working there and have gone out of their way to be helpful. The facility is clean and very well kept. My parents furniture hasn’t arrived from B.C.and so a respite suite fully furnished and supplied has been provided for them. The ample programs, bus outings and the event hosted in the park across the street will keep my parents busy, engaged and happy. The food is, according to my parents, absolutely delicious. I can’t say enough how happy we are to have our parents living at Chartwell Pickering now. How lucky are we to have found this gem and are certain that our parents will flourish there. A thousand thank you to Ashley and the team for alleviating all the worry and stress we had before finding this truly special place.

  I’ve been a resident at Chartwell Pickering City Centre nearly two years—this August will mark that milestone—and my experience has been very positive. One of the things I appreciate most is the availability of optional services that can be accessed whenever needed, providing great flexibility and support. The housekeeping and dining services are exceptional—I couldn’t ask for better. The quality and consistency truly make daily life more comfortable and enjoyable. The location is another major advantage. Being in a prime area close to the mall and near many of my friends adds convenience and helps me stay connected to the community. Most importantly, the staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service. Their professionalism and warmth make a real difference in the overall experience.
