I was seeking respite care for a loved one for two weeks. I visited many homes in the GTA and was very disappointed with their offerings. One of the rooms offered was a storage room! But when I met Daniela at Amica Pickering, my opinion of retirement homes changed for the positive. What a happy welcoming environment. The staff and residents were happy and the atmosphere was energizing. It is difficult to place a loved one for a two week respite or longer. Daniela was so patient and accommodating and cognizant of personal needs. It turned out that we were able to secure in-home care. However, I highly recommend this facility. Thank you Daniela!
