  I had the absolute pleasure of spending time at Appleby Place Retirement Residence in Burlington, and I can genuinely say it is a truly special place. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warmth you can feel, not just in the beautiful space, but in the people. The team goes above and beyond to create an environment where residents feel comfortable, respected, and truly at home. There’s a natural sense of community here that makes everyone feel welcomed. It’s not just a place to live, but a place where people are truly cared for. A special mention to Lexie, the Lifestyle Consultant, who is truly an absolute bliss to work with. Her energy, kindness, and genuine care for the residents shine through in everything she does. She brings such a positive spirit to the community, and it’s clear how much she loves what she does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Appleby Place for the incredible work you do every day. It makes a meaningful difference for the residents and their families. If anyone is exploring retirement living options in Burlington, this is absolutely a place worth visiting.

  My mum was a resident at Appleby Place for almost 5 years, myself & family cannot say enough about it. We visited many homes in Burlington but AP was where she wanted to be due to convenience. That being said it turned out to be more than that, it turned out to be HOME. The staff are tremendous from front desk, nurses, PSW’s, housekeeping and all other staff. AP staff became extended family, all so friendly and professional. The care my mum Received was exceptional and they went over & beyond for her.. unfortunately my mum had to move to LTC but we still stay in touch as they are missed. Highly recommend, you will not find a retirement home like Appleby!!

  Moving our mom into Appleby Place has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms, and the team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. They worked quickly to get her suite ready when we needed to move her in urgently, and their kindness and efficiency made all the difference. The staff here are truly exceptional—every single person we’ve met has been warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. My mom has been raving about the delicious food, and her bright, spacious room already feels like home. What gives us the most peace of mind is the level of attention and care provided; the staff always seem to know what’s going on with the residents, checking in regularly to make sure they’re at meals or settling in for the night. We couldn’t ask for a better environment for our mom, and if you’re looking for a retirement home where your loved one will be safe, comfortable, and truly cared for, Appleby Place is the place to be. Highly recommend!!
