  We’ve had a great ongoing working relationship with Chartwell Lansdowne Retirement Residence. The staff are always friendly, professional, and very welcoming to both residents and contractors. The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and hygienic, which really reflects the care and attention of the team. A special shoutout to Ryan for consistently accommodating our team during repair and mitigation work and for making coordination smooth and efficient. It’s always a pleasure working with such a supportive and respectful team.

  When I was working in Community Development, long before law, we used to do a team go around at weekly meetings asking for beefs and bouquets. This is our thank you bouquet to the management and all the staff here at the Lord Landsdowne. We recognize that you have a hard job and most likely hear a lot of beefs so we thought it time to give out some bouquets. Leeann, as residents we love the tone you set, your kindness and accessibility blend together with your teams to create an atmosphere that feels like home. You are always approachable and willing to talk things through, open to suggestions and fun. Stephanie we don’t have a lot of direct dealings with you but when we have you have responded promptly and addressed our concerns. We would have no difficulty approaching you directly if the need arose. If it is you who supervise the receptionists they are great. Always helpful and kind, have a good sense of humour. Amy, you keep many balls in the air providing us with multiple choices to keep ourselves healthy and happy. We are always amazed at the activities you can come up with. Along with Tania, who makes a good G&T btw, the 2 of you are amazing. Likewise, Jean Luc is a treasure. I have had to use Jean Lucas’ services often for medical appointments and he is so kind and thoughtful. Michael, we really like your dining servers. They are friendly, have a good sense of humour and do their jobs well. We don’t know your kitchen staff but do appreciate that they work very hard also in getting so many meals out every day. In particular we love Harbinda and of course Pina. It helps to set the tone for the day when you are met at the meal by great servers who take the time to know what you like Tammy, although you have changed jobs, you were the first to get to know us initially in your assessment. You set the tone for what we were to expect here at Lord Landsdowne. We had a good first impression. Your staff have helped us deal with an emergency with Meryn and we have always found them to be very kind and helpful. Nubia in our interactions with you we find that you pose thoughtful questions to help us emotionally figure out how to handle our unpredictable future. You have dealt with both of us at different times. Any interaction with you and your staff has always been professional and helpful. We feel safe in terms of knowing your team is here. Ryan we have had the pleasure of dealing with you and your housekeeping team on a regular basis. We find you very approachable to helping us sort out our problems. Your housekeeping staff have been great. In particular we want to give a call out to Peace, her trainee, Destiny was exceptional, Nana, Mezerette and Tony. All are trying very hard to make peace with Jesse when they come to the door. Nathalie, we really don’t know you but you seem to be working very hard given the number of new residents joining us. I was most impressed with you asking Betty to take new residents to a meal. Great idea it’s so hard to enter dining room as a new resident its daunting. If I have inadvertently missed anyone I apologize. I hope your bouquets put a smile on your face. You really do try your hardest to make this a friendly, warm home environment.   We’ve just moved in and everything has been wonderful. Natalie and Ryan have been so welcoming and have helped us with all the big and little questions we’ve had. The other residents have been very friendly. The meals are fabulous. And I don’t have to cook!!! It was a hard decision to leave our home but we are so happy we chose the Lord Lansdowne. We are looking forward to the next phase of our lives.
