The management, staff, and nursing team—including the head nurse and PSWs—at Chartwell Whispering Pines function as an incredible, cohesive unit that provides truly compassionate care. The entertainers they bring in are fantastic and bring immense joy to the residents. This retirement home feels like a true community.

I just want to thank you for the wonderful experience you offered us at Whispering Pines yesterday. Each time I have been there I feel such a relaxed, welcoming feeling.and it just reinforces in me that I am making the right decision. Ilona and Stephanie did a marvelous job. The presentation was lovely and the food and drink were delicious. It was so helpful speaking with the ambassadors and getting their first hand input as to what living at the Whispering Pines is like for them. That was so kind of Elsie to let us see inside her place and give us another look at the approximate size of the rooms and also give my niece and her husband an idea of what our living accommodation will be like. We all came away yesterday feeling a sense of comfort that we had made the right decision.

The Barrie Parkinson's Support Group has been meeting at this facility for a few months. They have provided us with a meeting room and snacks. To say they have been welcoming is a considerable understatement. Stephanie, the food service manager, has provided us with a delectable assortment of cookies and pastries along with coffee and tea. The positive attitude of all the staff at Whispering Pines has helped to contribute to the Parkinson's group feeling quite relaxed which has led to very positive meeting outcomes. We look forward to our monthly meetings.
