This place is a joke. My wife had hip surgery and we wanted a place for respite/care. Despite trying for over three weeks with numerous phone messages and emails, no one has ever gotten back to us. NO ONE! In our opinion, Stuart Allington, the sales coordinator, should be fired. It's irresponsible to ignore potential clients for their residences. We most certainly will NOT consider Roberta Place Retirement Lodge as a place we might ever stay. You shouldn't either.

My wife's grandfather lived at Roberta Place for a year and a half and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff were excellent and always willing to assist, at times going above and beyond their standard duties to support our grandfather. Holly, the nurse was incredible and was always quick to communicate with us when we had concerns about our grandfather's health. Jack the GM was always around to answer questions as needed. The staff truly took the time to get to know our grandfather and he came to refer to them as "family." Keep in mind this is independent living, while you can add on care services from an in house provider, it is not at the same level as an assisted living facility. During our grandfather's time there, they completely refinished the exterior of the building and many areas of the interior including the dining hall, library and hallways. It was nice to see them investing back into the building. The apartments are large and have tons of storage compared to other retirement homes we toured. We appreciate the support all of the Roberta place staff provided and would highly recommend Roberta Place if looking for an independent living retirement home for yourself or a loved one.

I spent three weeks at Roberta Place after my knee replacement in April 2024. I will be staying there again in 2025 to recuperate after my other knee replacement. I found that the staff in all departments exceptionally caring and willing to make sure my happiness as well as my needs were expertly taken care of. There is so much to do and to fill your days while staying at Roberta Place short stay facilities or permanent resident. I met so many folks there. They were permanent residents as well as other short stay visitors. I enjoyed my stay so very much. When it is time I will become a permanent resident myself. I like to go visit my new friends to say hello periodically. Everyone I met there are so happy to be able to enjoy life living in such a warm welcoming retirement atmosphere.
