My mother has recently moved to Christie Gardens and was scared to make the shift to assisted living for all the mortality the choice conjured. She is really happy she did it. The organization there is well thought out and considerate - for example, in the elevators, on PAPER, in big font, are the day's activities, and they change each day. This is SO sweet! The food is amazing, the staff are skilled and kind communicators, the services are amazing. Mom took the cheapest, smallest accom and it is absolutely perfect. I couldn't ask for a better place for my mom. We lost our dad and our younger brother in the last five years and the amount of peace this new move has provided us as a family is immeasurable.

My mom has been living at Christie Gardens for about a year and a half and she loves it. One of the things she appreciates is the community - many retired professors and teachers who love to continue learning and talking about ideas, politics, etc. The level of programming is geared toward an educated clientele, which suits her as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the food is terrific!
