The team at LH was very compassionate and caring for my 96 yr old mom. The facility is exceptionally well run administratively, with excellent maintenance/ housekeeping . We found the residents friendly and there are lots of activities. Our family was also very happy with the experience and the coordination between AHS and Optima.

Well what can I say about this amazing place. The process to get my mom an independent living apartment was extremely easy. Because we're able to fund the rent ourselves, it made the process extremely easy. We met with Jennifer and had a tour. The first thing my wife noticed, the staff there just made us feel so at home right from the beginning. The staff were very kind to all the people there, spoke to them with their name, and just instilled a sense that this was a great place for my mom. The suites are spacious, and we were able to get her a 2 bedroom suite, so she could continue her crafting. The suite was cleaned and freshly painted. The courtyard is beautiful with nice paved walking trails, a raised garden area for the folks with a green thumb, daily activities, they have a courtesy car and a bus for group outings. Since moving in, my mom has been doing amazing. She's making new friends, and has been enjoying the meals that have been served. What we really appreciated, is that the costs to live there are pretty consistent. They clean the room and do her linen once a week. She has a laundry room just down the hall, and the machines are free to use. No extra fees. There are 5 emergency pull stations in her apartment. Again, no additional fees for those. If you want the medallion, that would be extra. They have group insurance for content insurance and its extremely cheap in comparison to what you would pay a regular insurance policy. Phone, internet, and basic cable can be added and plans are reasonable. We're extremely happy with our experience, and my mom is doing great. What more can you ask for. Thank you to Jennifer and her staff!!!
