We want to thank the Activity Program staff members for a great time celebrating 'Family Day' yesterday at Maple Grove Care. The entertainer was "James" and his wife. James sang many songs and all the residence enjoyed themselves singing along with him. Great time and great job to all.

My family and I want to thank all the Lake Side staff members at Maple Grove Care. Special thank you to 🥰Nana, Seema & Nat (PSW) for taking great care of our mum. They are loving, supportive and attentive to our mum's needs but most of all respectful towards her. They make her laugh and smile, which makes us feel happy. Thank you to all the other PSWs we haven't named. Again, a special thank you to Sandeep, Krushpreet & Aman (RN) & other nurses. These nurses keep us informed on anything to do with our mum. (Medications, physio, Dr. Visits, her eating, mental health & much more). They care for her & the other residences. If we have any questions, they will check and inform us that day or the following day. The doctor will visit and assess her situation offen. We appreciate them.🙂 Special thanks to Santosh, Woinshet & Abhishik (Program Activity). They take the time and effort to ask us what our mum likes to do (hobbies, etc) so that my mum feels welcomed & involved. Many special events and activities are planned each month, during the day and at night. They encourage my mum (us) to participate with the activities. We all have a great time. Organized very well. (Birthdays, Diwali, Christmas, Remembrance Day, Spiritual services, fitness, craft, cooking, painting, bingo, games, music etc). Well Done! When it comes to meals, my mum says that the food is excellent. She eats everything on her plate! They will cut her food. She is given milk, juice, coffee/tea, water at each meantime. Overall, we are happy with everyone! ***FYI...For the people reading reviews online. If reading a negative review, please take into consideration that there are always TWO sides to a story. Remember...Don't judge! Ask questions! Thank you, The Rea family

My dad was resident from May/June 2024. If you are considering Maple Grove for your loved one, I strongly suggest you do a thorough investigation of this home. It is in need of upgrades and repairs. It has a hospital feel and does not offer a homely environment. Ask to see all floors and not just the bottom floor when touring the home. Look at all reviews. Also check out Reports on Long Term Care Homes available online by the Ministry. Some of the staff are amazing and hardworking. Others just there for pay check. Dad was only there for a short time before his passing. It’s the only consolation we take away from our time at Maple Grove.
