Simcoe Terrace has an incredible team. The staff are truly amazing, hardworking, and deeply caring. You can see the compassion they have for the residents every single day. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to provide comfort, dignity, and support. It does not go unnoticed.

Simcoe Terrace Barrie This is a retirement home which has a so called cook on staff who likes to bully residents by yelling and screaming at them. Must make her feel real big bullying vulnerable seniors (55+). This person should never be allowed in any sort of residential care facility or retirement home. Yet the home still allows her to work within their facility as they don't even care about the residents as everyone here is just a number with a dollar sign attached to it. Building is falling apart, there is mold throughout the facility, and food is processed products. Nothing is made from scratch here. If you care about your loved ones and or friends don't let them move into here. Good luck to those who are living within the walls of 44 Donald Street, Barrie!!!

Family members are, at the moment calling Simcoe Terrace home. Apparently there are no apartments in Barrie they said the meals are horrid. Some just slopped on a plate in a mess, some are ice cold, still raw. Some days there are no meals at all because the kitchen has run out of food and residence are not getting fed. My family member is on government assistance so Simcoe Terrace takes almost their full benefit for being a resident of this establishment. This means that they have little to no money to go out and get proper meals when not being fed. Their hands are tied and this is disgusting! Staff are stealing from the residences rooms. And are mean to the ones that need assistance. Don't send your family members here.
