My mom moved to Amica Thornhill 11 years ago. I highly recommend this retirement home. The staff and management are professionals, friendly and approachable, they always help with a smile, they are loving, caring and dedicated. The staff support residents with dignity, warmth and treat them as their family. The place is well maintained and clean. Each day there are many activities to address different interests. Family members are updated often and any concern a family member has is addressed. Amica is an amazing place to stay.

Our experience with Amica Thornhill has been exceptional. The Community Relations Managers were very thorough in explaining what Amica has to offer, the different levels of care and the related fees. They were always readily available and answered all our questions promptly. They went beyond the call of duty to enable my father's admission with on-site family support. We always felt heard regarding our concerns and wishes for our family member. We appreciated that we worked as a team to create my father’s personalized care plan which addressed his complex needs. We have continued input with staff regarding day-to-day matters that can improve his quality of life even further. My father is treated with respect, patience and genuine caring. All staff listen and do their utmost to make requests happen. We are most pleased with the quality of care our family member is receiving. To live out one’s senior years in such a welcoming and beautiful environment is a blessing. Thank you Amica Thornhill!

My mom and dad have been at this Amica facility for 3 years and we have been so pleased with how friendly, caring and professional everyone has been. The decor throughout is very pleasing and activities (before Covid) had lots of variety and were highly enjoyable. Even this past year with all the quarantining they did a great job keeping everyone safe and we appreciated how hard the staff worked in the last few months to reintegrate the residents back into general routines. I highly recommend Amica Thornhill if you are looking for a high quality retirement and assisted living facility.
