  The staff genuinely care about the residents at Carp Commons. I've had positive interactions with everyone: the landlord, nurses, personal care workers, dining staff, receptionists, cleaners, maintenance crew and even volunteers. I'm continually impressed by the variety of activities available and the cleanliness of the building as a whole. Members of the memory care team are especially skilled, patient, respectful and kind. Thank you.

  We had such a positive experience with Carp Commons while moving my mom in. The building itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a warm, home-like feel, which really helped make the transition easier. Moving into a new place can be a big adjustment, but Rebekah made the whole process feel easy and supported from start to finish. From our first conversations right through move-in day, she was kind, responsive, and really attentive to all the little details. We always felt like my mom was in good hands, and that made a huge difference for our family. We’re really grateful for how welcoming and caring the whole experience was—it honestly took a lot of the stress out of a big life transition, and we appreciate it more than we can say.

  First Impressions I’ve been in Carp Commons Retirement Village for almost a month now. It’s set in a small walkable village with the Carp hills as a backdrop. It’s the people here that make this a special place to live. From the management staff to the front desk to the dining room, housekeeping, life enrichment folk and maintenance staff, I have found friendly faces and a helpful attitude. I especially enjoy the hospitality and kindness of the dining staff. The young people greet you by name and treat you with respect. The residents are a friendly bunch and reach out to make your first days a comfortable experience. The food is a highlight of my day. Last night was bangers and mash! There’s homemade granola, and homemade muffins and cookies and homemade soups. And a shout out to the nursing team. Kind, caring, efficient and always a listening ear if you need it. Lots of activities and a book club for the readers here. And kudos to Rebekah, one of the Community Managers, who expertly and patiently guided my transition from an apartment in a nearby community to an apartment in independent living here at Carp Commons. All in all, this has been a very good choice for me to call home.
