  The Senior Group at Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre cannot thank Chartwell Retirement Residence in Oakville enough for the incredibly warm welcome and generous hospitality they extended to us throughout July and August. When I casually mentioned to Sarah Rotz that we would not be able to meet at OPNC during the summer, she immediately and generously offered the use of Chartwell’s beautiful Oak Room for our weekly meetings. What began as simply a place for us to gather became so much more. Every Monday, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and completely at home. Our gracious hosts welcomed us with coffee and tea, invited us to enjoy their monthly lunch, accommodated our potluck, and, most importantly, gave our Seniors a wonderful place to come together, socialize and enjoy a sense of community throughout the summer. Their kindness and generosity meant so much to our group. Without Chartwell opening its doors to us, our Senior Group would not have had a place to meet over the summer. They didn’t just provide us with a room, they provided us with a warm, welcoming environment where everyone felt comfortable, included and cared for. This is not the first time Chartwell has welcomed our Senior Group. Whenever we are unable to meet at OPNC, Chartwell is our first choice and our home away from home. Each time we visit, we are welcomed with the same warmth and generosity, and we truly feel like part of the Chartwell community, almost like residents ourselves! We are incredibly grateful to Sarah Rotz, Samantha Bruno and Izabela Dabrowski for their continued kindness, generosity and hospitality. Your willingness to welcome us, accommodate us and make us feel so at home is very much appreciated by all of us. Thank you for opening your doors and, more importantly, for opening your hearts to our Senior Group. We are truly grateful.

  Chartwell’s staff exemplify professionalism and compassion. They are consistently dependable, flexible, and genuinely caring. It is deeply reassuring to know that my parents are in the hands of such trustworthy individuals, both day and night. The Health and Wellness manager, Kris, Joanne and staff also merit recognition. Concerns are not only acknowledged but addressed with clarity and action. Their responsiveness is timely, attentive, and solution‑focused to provide the best possible outcomes for the residents. Chartwell Oakville is an exceptionally well‑managed residence. Each time I call, I am promptly connected with a live representative who is prepared to assist, which speaks volumes about the facility’s commitment to service and operational excellence. It is, without question, a top‑tier community.

  My sister has lived at Chartwell Oakville for just over a year. The staff are excellent, from the first person we met - the Retirement Living Consultant to the professional, lifestyle and management staff. The staff are all very kind and the residents are too. My sister enjoys living at Chartwell Oakville, living in a spacious apartment, and I have peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of. The staff have recommended relevant community programs and I am encouraged that my sister can continue to enjoy this safe environment for many years.
