  Palermo has been amazing for my mom, she moved in about 6months ago, she is always saying how she enjoys it. We toured other retirement facilities, but fell in love with Palermo and its staff. Prit (manager) was Very accommodating and understanding my mom‘s needs And was able Help us get my mom into a suite before she sold her house. Also, it is very clean and all staff is extremely friendly. The cuisine is very good. Every time that I have joined her for dinner or lunch I have left pleased with what I have eaten. Every time I ask my mom, how was dinner or lunch? She says “it was delicious” The Chef is doing an amazing job coming up with different meals all the time and the Waitstaff is extremely friendly and knows everyone’s name. I am very pleased with what Palermo Has been doing with my mom. She has been extremely happy and enjoys living there I have already been recommending Palermo to colleagues of mine so whose parents are ageing and looking into retirement facilities. My mom is in the right place with Palermo and I trust that they take care of her. I would give Palermo 10 stars if there is an option.

  What a vibrant and welcoming community! My Dad has been looking for a new place to call home and we have hit the jackpot! We toured a lot of retirement villages, but shout out to Kaytee T who asked my Dad first thing (after offering him his favourite beverage and some snacks) what his interests are rather than pushing the Palermo “program” on him. This remarkable approach made my Dad feel so comfortable and seen. This community truly has a welcoming spirit, my Dad has only just moved in and on the first day he was invited to have lunch with another resident. The activity schedule is jam packed! There are many opportunities to socialize and be active. Painting, axe throwing (foam- lol) weekly outings… No more SAD Saturdays! The weekend calendar is filled with a beautiful variety of enriched events, so if I can’t visit, my Dad has other things happening. This is huge relief. My dad is a big music lover (growing up he was the one with the guitar, singing around the campfire) and Palermo has music in spades! 🎶 From their glee club (grab a chair and sing oldies together) to ukulele sessions or actual music performances there’s something for everyone at any level and interest. A lot of their initiatives are resident lead (and staff supported) which is so refreshing. Every staff member we have encountered from reception to maintenance to hospitality ALL acknowledge you and say hello. (Am I at Disneyland?!) It’s evident the team really care and go the extra mile to make feel residents included and valued. 🥹 I appreciate that they speak to my Dad (and all residents) with dignity and respect. I’m excited and relieved to see my Dad flourish and thrive at Palermo and truly live out his golden years. 💛💛💛💛💛

  I could not be more pleased with the service provided to my Mother by all staff and Palermo Village. The attention to detail and communication is matched by the quality of experiences and amenities provided to residents. It is very evident that Verve understands very well the senior population and has made it a habit to exceed expectations in a relational manner. I would highly recommend Palermo Village and all of Verve properties to prospective residents and to their families.
