My parents too made a life lease loan when living at Devonshire. Vacated the suite end of April 2022; $320,000 (their money) yet to be repaid. They thought their money was safe but sadly the reputation and trust is currently in tatters.

My mom was required to buy a life lease with the understanding that when she terminated her lease she would get 92% back. She passed away in early 2022 and we have been sitting in a queue since then. Sadly we are among the 55 people waiting. It is my understanding that no one at Devonshire has been paid back since May of 2023

Devonshire Village is connected by indoor pedway to the 125-bed Devonshire Care Centre, a long-term care facility owned by Park Place. Optional services available to all residents include meals, housekeeping, laundry, and personal services.
