My mom and dad moved in here after a very difficult year between health and hospital issues and navigating AHS. The assisted living facility is small which means it feels very personalized. While some of the rooms are smaller and could use an update/ renos I am giving it 5 stars because the staff have truly been wonderful. From the management to the doctors to nursing care - everyone has been helpful, kind, responsive, personal. It’s been such a blessing after a rough year.

My mother lived at Glastonbury for less than 3 months - and was never happy there - so I am glad she had to move elsewhere. She was always complaining about the food - and I wasn't sure I believed her, as she often couldn't remember what she ate, (how can the food always be bad?) but now she says good things 90% of the time about the food at her new residence. Supported Living at Glastonbury is not very "supportive", as the most the staff really do is porter residents to meals and administer medications - it was rare to see any staff around other than at those times. Lots of talk and promises at move-in time of activities that would happen for the SL residents, but very little action afterwards. The regular cleaning (quick and poor job) which you pay for is done by the health care aides and you have to supply all of the cleaning products and supplies. Suite was not completely cleaned upon move in, but we were charged for a "mandatory" cleaning after move out, and also charged for repairs and painting - after less than 3 months, even though no damage was done and suite had not been painted prior to move in. Also charged 3x the value for a HDMI TV cord that was accidentally taken. Definitely cannot say much positive about my experience with Glastonbury Village or about Christenson Communities.

Recommended place..Very clean, sanitized and well maintained home for seniors….I went to meet my friend’s mom and was impressed the way they maintained the facility and following all Covid restrictions strictly. Food is nice, following all dietary restrictions as she has diabetes and nut allergy. My friend’s mom and other people living there really enjoyed the food service, other amenities and the facility as well.
